Set authProfile values in code
Looking for how I can set the access token for OAuth2 programmatically. For untold reasons I need to get the access token seperately. I have external code to do that and can expose separately but it's only helpful if I can set the value in the authprofile in an automated fashion. Ready API implementation does not work for me. I'm sure it follows the standards but does not work for the instance I am dealing with.7 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions652Views0likes1CommentOAuth 2.0 redirect Url page reports "Unfortunately, we can't open this page!"
Using Authorization Code Grant with all fields filled correctly I am able to walk through getting the access token and if i move the page from the ReadyAPI browser out of the way I can see that the authorization code is received and the check mark is there. At this point I have no contol over the Get Access Token screen as the browser seems to be modal and if I close the browser then the Access Token information is lost. Red Exclamation Triangle and text Retrieval cancelled. [update] I have determined that we are using the 3-legged approach in OAuth2. Trying to locate best method for this approach in SoapUI Pro now. Will update if I find it. In case others find that this is why they receive the same message.7 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions871Views0likes0CommentsRe: how to do a Oauthv2 auth-code flow enable API with Testrunner
ochmanskiLet me start by saying that i'm sorry to see that you have not gotten an answer to this. Let me finish by asking how you setup to perform 3-legged oauth. I need to do the same here and cannot seem to find where anyone else has accomplished this. Trying for Groovy script now but sadly not many functional examples. I have been able to complete the first leg using the Automation Scripts in the auth profile but the code is simply displayed in an otherwise blank page in the readyapi browser.7 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions644Views0likes0Comments
