Re: Renamed/moved file shown in Review Materials
I want to strongly second this. We can use Code Collaborator to (gently) argue over variable and function names, to give our code a consistent, logical look. Buta less-than-optimal file name? We are stuck with it on projects that can run for years. SVN (which we use) is fine tracking file name changes. A little smarter parsing of the SVN history should work.6.6KViews0likes0CommentsCC with existing SVN repository
We have a large SVN repository of accepted - via internal audit - code, which will form the starting point for the next release. We want to now fully integrate CC (we already use it) to replace the internal audit method, specifically: 1) To use CC in the "review after check-in" mode *and* 2) To consider the latest repository version (as of today, not going forward!) as representing the latest "reviewed" files. That is, I have myfile.cpp @rev 91073 and when I update it I want CC to consider 91073 to be the base, and show the newer version as a diff, rather than the new version as entirely "new". I think it might actually work like this but can't confirmfrom what I've been able to read.1.4KViews0likes1Comment
