Defects Quick Edit - cannot upload attachments.
Since upgrade to 11.8 Saas users are reporting multiple issues: This one - Defects Quick Edit - cannot upload attachments. This was working OK for this user prior to the upgrade, since upgrade error is reported. Can this be investigated please? Update: Have retried this method by accessing defect through quick edit - clicking files tab and attempting to upload a file. Today our users on SAAS are reporting unacceptable response times in QAComplete. Navigation between pages is taking minutes. Across projects and defects/test management areas. E.g. - when do finally do get into a defect - navigating to the next defect takes over 2 minutes to display the details. Since new UI changes 11.8 Saas users are reporting errors when trying to raise defects from within a test run. Error occurred "Couldn't get Data" when pressing Create button on pop up to create a defect from a failed test. Using "Defects" with updated GUI. Existing defect where "Description" and "Expected Results" fields were HTML and Images had been included within these fields. When attempting to reassign this defect using the "New" GUI Defects front end when pressing SAVE we get Problems Found Editor field "Description" is invalid. Too long string (287709). Maximum allowed number of characters : 65000. Editor field "Expected Results" is invalid. Too long string (85888). Maximum allowed number of characters : 65000. Image attached The Defect cannot be saved We are however able to reassign this defect when using Traceability view Can this issue be looked into as we cannot advocate using the "Defects" new gui - everyone will have to use Traceability view in QAC instead.1.4KViews0likes1CommentDoes the automatic backup include archived projects?
We have the automatic backup enabled for our QAComplete. We have reviewed the downloadable files and have realised how sizeable they are. So the question is how we can manage the size of the data being backed up. I assume it currently backs up everything - but we have a number of projects archived that will no longer require backing up so can we exclude them? I have added an additional custom field to a project within defects and would like it to be shown next to an existing custom field in the add/edit screen (as this new field is a breakdown of items in the original custom field) How can i arrange the custom fields to be in a logical place rather than randomly placed in the screen?Solved1.7KViews0likes1Comment
