Admittedly they should be obvious from context, but it would be less error prone for what I need to do to have a standard bit of scripting that will derive them. Re: can't register JDCB driver class Sorry I wasn't clear. I added import com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver to my groovy script and had no problems registering the driver. Re: can't register JDCB driver class To do what I wanted I had to import the sql server driver explicitely before I registered it. can't register JDCB driver class When using SoapUI Opensource; I have a mock server groovy script that is attempting to access a sql server database. My soapUI installation has a valid sqljdbc4.jar file in /ext directory. My groovy script contains Class.forName("com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver").newInstance(); When I run a request that calls the mocked service I get this error: <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"> <soapenv:Body> <soapenv:Fault> <faultcode>Server</faultcode> <faultstring>Failed to dispatch using script; java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver</faultstring> </soapenv:Fault> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope> SolvedSoapUI properties and a deployed mock war If I set project level custom properties, are they included in the deployed war somewhere and available to be referenced in the scripts? SolvedGroovy/Java interaction I'm new to Groovy, so I have a question. I have a java library that does database work, with lots of methods that take a java.sql.Connection Is it possible to get a Connection from a groovy datasource or groovy.sql.Sql object? SolvedRe: Deployed mock server startup script I am looking at implementing dozens of mock services, which will all access common initialised code/singletons. It is clunky to have to have initialisation code that needs to be added to every mocked service rather than called once, seperate and before all the mock calls. On top of that the code will need a flag to ensure it is not initiated more than once. Re: Deployed mock server startup script I guess there is two issues here... firstly how to centralise common functionality, secondly how to run code independent of services called on deployment of the generated war. The first part has been resolved, the second hasn't been. There are ways I can initiate on demand for everything, but I would rather have a central initiation point that I can expect to be run on deployment. Re: Deployed mock server script directory Thanks, I'd done a similar test myself. It would be nice if this was bound at the project level rather than the installation level. Re: Deployed mock server script directory One suggestion I've seen is to compile groovy code into a jar and include that in the deployed war. Has anyone done that with open source soap UI?
