Re: Report analysis-How to analysis the graph result, what is the count of user that can handle a website
HiRyanHeidorn I've been linked to this conversation as I am evaluating Loadcomplete and saw this behaviour. It was certainly very distracting to see 100% CPU as every other tool on the market works on the assumption that anything above 75-80% CPU has the potential to affect results. For example, you mention that HTTP 500 errors were seen when the load capacity was reached, I would question whether response times were adversely affected before errors were seen? I am happy to see that this will be resolved though, do you know when this might be implemented?6.3KViews0likes0CommentsHigh CPU for small tests
I'm currently learning Loadcomplete, and one of the first things I've noticed is the amount of CPU used by it. For a basic script of four web pages and four virtual users, the local CPU goes up to 100%. This is on a 1.9Ghz i5 PC with 8Gb of memory. I've checked task manager and it's definitely the load test that is taking the CPU. I'm unable to test too high (both because of the virtual user limit and the AUT), but I wouldn't expect four virtual users to do this. Is there anything I can look at to find out why it's so bad? (Edit: setting up and running the test on a remote agent also shows 100% CPU, similar spec to the local PC).Solved2.7KViews0likes1CommentAllow regular expressions to capture multiple values
One feature I use regularlyin other toolsis the ability for regular expressions to capture a range of values. For example, if a web page had several menus and sub menus as a FAQ, I would use a regular expression to extract all links on a page, then click one randomly, then do the same on the sub menu and so on. This could be done by storing every link in a datatable and using a random selection, but each time the pages were updated the datatable would have to be updated as well. Using random responses from a regular expression is much quicker. With Loadcomplete only allowing the choice of the first pattern match this approach is not possible.1.1KViews0likes0Comments
