Re: Logs not printed when exported as jar
Hello Rupert, Thank you for your reply. Yes I am running SoapUI using JAVA including a jar dependency. My problem right now is not with the sl4j error message. When I run the program in my Eclipse everything is working perfect, but when I export the whole program as a jar, then only the soapUI logs are displayed and the log from my program are all overwritten. (I hope the picture above makes it more clear!) Do you have any suggestions how it could be fixed? Thank you! Regards, Shailesh1.2KViews0likes1CommentLogs not printed when exported as jar
I am trying to run soapui project using soapui jar. But I am having problem with the logging. soapui overwrites the log4j settings: I followed the following post and get it fixed by overwriting the system property: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-NG/SoapUI-overwrites-and-closes-log4j-settings/td-p/30694 System.setProperty("soapui.log4j.config", Mainn.class.getClassLoader().getResource("log4j.xml").getPath()); Now when I export the jar ... the log displayed in command window still shows only logs generated by soapUi. This seems similar to this post: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Open-Source/Logs-not-printed-when-war-deployed-in-Tomcat/td-p/35260 But it is still not working. Can anybody please suggest me how it can be fixed? Thank you for your time and effort!1.3KViews0likes3CommentsIOException: Decompression of response failed
Hello, I am trying to do some test using TestNG and test case runner TestCaseRunner testCaseRunner = testCase.run(new PropertiesMap(), false); for (TestStepResult testStepResult : testCaseRunner.getResults()) { if(testStepResult instanceof MessageExchange){ String responseXML = ((MessageExchange) testStepResult).getResponseContentAsXml(); } } When I was run a simple test project it works. Now I am trying to test some little-big project with few test-suites then I am getting this error: java.io.IOException: Decompression of response failed at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.submit.transports.http.HttpMethodSupport.getResponseBody(HttpMethodSupport.java:321) Can anybody please suggest what I am missing here or may be doing wrong? But when I do the run as -> Maven test. I get (package com.eviware.soapui.*) errors. Can you please suggest what is going wrong here, or did I missed something? HelloTanya, Thank you for your reply. I just solved this problem following this post: https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Open-Source/Property-Transfer-step-is-getting-failed-with-maven/m-p/117538#U117538 Since saxon-9 & saxon-dom-9 dependency could not be loaded I manually downloaded them in repository. That solved the problem. Thank you! sha098 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.6KViews1like0CommentsJUnit SoapUI Properties transfer failed
I am trying to run my testSuite using JUnit. But the step to transfer properties fails and hence the test cannot continue. I tried to look for dependency problems but I could not figure out anything so far. Can anybody please suggest some ideas?
