The problem I have is that there appears to be nothing to push this criteria into cucumber feature files so I can create step definition files and add selenium code in visual studio. I think it would be good if QAC could remain as the optional hub for both manual and automation testing (regardless of the tool used) and support this. Can QA Complete support the generation of cucumber feature files for Visual Studio? I am looking at ways of interfacing QA Complete to enable me to efficiently create Cucumber feature files / Step definition files. We currently use JIRA and have the link to SB QA Complete so the thinking is the Cucumber acceptance criteria (given, when, then) will drop into SB QA Complete and the tester can then create manual tests or cucumber feature files to be used with visual studio / selenium. Currently a significant bit of cut and paste / rework goes on - I am also looking at JIRA options however it would be good if QA complete could remain the hub for both manual and automation work (creation, management and reporting) . Note: We no longer use Test Complete All thoughts / suggestion welcome Re: Documentation for QAComplete - JIRA Connector Re: QAComplete sync with JIRA, how can we sync the folders? I've tried all sorts of combinations. I have mapped folder ID in SmartBear to a Custom Field in JIRA (it at least works one way JIRA>QAC ) Which is okay if QAC is the slave (Epics and Stories) - just a bit of a pain remembering and adding the number in the JIRA field. QA Complete - JIRA Connector - Bi-directional defect issue When using a bi-directional defect interface (using JIRA Scrum) Basically on occasions the Reporter detail that is present in JIRA gets replaced by the Connectors Admin User detail - despite there being a 1-2-1 mapping of JIRA to QAC users in the User Mapping table. Has anyone else experienced this? Re: Syncing multiple projects to JIRAWe are considering doing similar i.e. syncing multiple projects to JIRA's defect tracking tool. However we would also like to consider syncing with JIRA's Agile tool to provide the Requirement / Tasks data direct into Smart Bear. Does the JIRA interface currently do this?
