Add user privilege to modify review templates but not other "admin" level items
We have many groups that use the tool and each would like to be able to modify thier own templates that suite their own needs. Our "admin" does not like giving people keys to the entire kindom. So I suggest adding a priveledge level for a user to be able to modifiy review template related parameters. I do not know the tool that well so if some parameters are "global" then maybe have those parameters be set on a group basis. So each group can override the global settings if they choose. Hi, When I try to open an attached document (for example a Word document), it does not open the file even when clicking on the "manual reopen the file" and "open it now" links. However using IE, the window to open a file pops up just fine. As a work around in Chrome, I found I can right click the attached file and do "save as", etc. to get access to the document. Thanks. Hi, As a user I see that I am unable to edit the description field for a change list/set (just says "no description"). Is there something on the admin/user side to allow this? Is it true that only the administrator may set the review deadline (this is what the help says)? This seems odd since the creator of the review should decided on this deadline if at all. Is there anyway the creator can set this or will have the request to change go to the admin to modify. Currently ours is set to no deadline. I do not like the idea of a global/default setting. Hi Paul, Thanks for the feedback. I assume you meant an admin setting on the server and not a setting in the review... In any case... Since I did not create the defect (it was created by another reviewer) and I am not the author and I was able to mark the defect fixed, I assume that the setting is set to "Everyone".2.4KViews0likes0CommentsAuthor has NO defect links "mark as fixed", etc.
Hi, A team member created a review and a defect was found. He resolved it and found that on the review home page, there was not a "marked as fixed" link (or delete, etc.). However when I open the review home page (under my login), I see the "marked as fixed" and "delete" links. We tried using another browser and it did not make a difference. Thanks Eric for the information... So as a work around, can I add changes using the Add Versions instead of the Add changes? If so, would I specify the before version as the same version as the initial upload or would I have to put the predecessor version?2.6KViews0likes0Comments
