Integration with SoftwarePlanner
I am using SoftwarePlanner and want to introduce code review into our work flow. Does CodeCollaborator integrate with SoftwarePlanner? What I would like to implement is a work flow like this: 1. Developer commits changes associated with a requirement into svn 2. Developer specifies an OpsHubtoken for the requirement; e.g. R::123 3. Developer changes the status of the requirement to "Assign for Code Review," as custom status in our workflow. 4. Reviewer selects a commit item link on the from the Requirement Traceability view 5. CodeColloborator presents the change for review We have some people coming from using trac, so similar work flow would help. Cheers, Ken9.6KViews0likes1CommentWhat is in my InBox?
The Home tab in SoftwarePlanner has an InBox. Where is this feature described? I did not see it in the User's Guide. I am looking for a way to view what is "on my plate" - all items assigned to me in order of priority. Before implementing filters to customize it, I was hoping to find a description of what exactly it is. Thanks. I have already seen the user guide and had actually been working from that second example. What caused me to believe it may be possible to use the code from the second level selection was that in the example pains are taken to actually define it. Why, I thought, define Code2 as Field1+' | '+Field2 unless something uses the value? It is unfortunate that it also suffers from silent failure when not applied. I can see why it would work that way for ease of implementation. But if only the field value were set at each selection level, it would have worked!14 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.2KViews0likes0CommentsCustom field choice list with sublist based on sql
Anyone know if there is a way to set up sublists such that not selecting an item still applies the items already selected? E.g., With 2 levels: 1. first level combo box displayed 2. select an item 3. second level combo box displayed 4. Click submit without selecting an item EXPECT: field value set to code1 ACTUAL: field value not updated14 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions7.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Note copied to test case that was created from requirement
Jennifer, Thanks for your reply. When I first saw it I was curious to see an edit button next to it. I, of course, as a software tester, just had to find out what it did. I found it did indeed allow me to edit your response. I had to restrain myself to only add the bit about the feature not working as required. A co-worker suggested that I change your stand to be that you would quit if you did not see the behaviour I desired in the very next release :) Anyway, I will look forward to such a release when I won't cringe at the thought of having to delete notes on a dozen test cases I create off a requirement. kenocrates PS - I am also able to edit my latest post. Perhaps you are, too. If so, please be gentle :)14 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.3KViews0likes0CommentsNote copied to test case that was created from requirement
STEPS: 1. Create a requirement 2. Add a note 3. Create a new test case from the requirement EXPECT: Test case is create without a note ACTUAL: Note from requirement is duplicated on new test case and cannot be removed until have the test case is created.14 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions9KViews0likes2Comments
