How do I data drive a REST Api endpoint?
I'm trying to cycle through a list of Rest API endpoints like this... GET https://XYZapi.com:1234/api/athing/<uniqueIdNum1> GET https://XYZapi.com:1234/api/athing/<uniqueIdNum2> GET https://XYZapi.com:1234/api/athing/<uniqueIdNum3> GET https://XYZapi.com:1234/api/athing/<uniqueIdNum4> GET https://XYZapi.com:1234/api/athing/<uniqueIdNum5> where uniqueIdNumX is a data set like this... 38020150666098044400 38020188475097282133 38020160684095682582 38020186685093654030 38020186685093654017 38020184251093327262 When I'm in SoapUI Pro it looks to me like the you can't parameterise or data drive the end point URI... http://screencast.com/t/aU5CCA5R I can data drive the parameters or the body (if it's Post) but I can't seem to work out a way to datadrive the end point URI. Any thoughts?9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.2KViews0likes1CommentRe: psWS and ProjId
You can find the project id by following these steps... 1. click on setup tab 2. click on projects at the top of the left hand navigation pane 3. then click on the 'choose fields' option in the menu bar and select ID In the resulting list of projects that are displayed you'll find the project ID for each project. Hope this helps.12 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions778Views0likes0CommentsRe: Dont See a Folders Tab in the Test Management Area
I expect it's because you don't have read privileges for folders in your security group. http://screencast.com/t/EKGnWdEJBm And you probably belong to a different security group for that particular project which doesn't have the privileges. Give that a try and see if it helps. If not come back to me and I'll take another look for you.12 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Test Management - Test Sets - Dashboard is Blank

With a bit more info I should be able to help you out.12 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions1.1KViews0likes0CommentsSuggestion for Test Management Performance Report
Hi Just wondering if this would be a good test management report to add at some point... The tool already captures run times, so it would be really beneficial to have a report that rendered that information in a way that could be used for Performance analysis. As you can link test sets to a release / build / iteration, I’m thinking that by being able to display run times for test and test sets for each release / build / iteration, you would be able to easily see and compare run time from one release / build / iteration to the next. e.g. something like this… Build 1 Build 2 Build 3 Test Set: Performance Test Set 1 8 mins 6 mins 4 mins Test Case 1 2 1 1 Test Case 2 2 2 1 Test Case 3 2 2 1 Test Case 4 2 1 1 It was actually in your Workflow Training doc, page 21, that mentions capturing performance test results in a spreadsheet. Given that the application already captures all this information it seems silly not to make further use of it and create a Test Management Performance Report. I appreciate there may be a way of a client creating a custom report using the Crystal Reports tool, but having a performance based report in the application would be a great addition.13 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions4.4KViews0likes1CommentManaging Retests
We've had a lot of questions about how to manage the process of rerunning tests. Some people seem to think that going back to a test and changing the test result to a pass after it failed the first time is a good thing to do. QAComplete doesn't let you do this. And for good reason. We've written a blog post on managing retests with QACompleteto explain why. Hope this helps.13 years agoPlace QAComplete QuestionsQAComplete Questions7.4KViews0likes0Comments
