The UI fires up but is unresponsive... you can't click on anything... I have to close the Command Window to get it to shutdown... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4762Re: Major install problems with 3.6Checking back in... seems like these forums aren't monitored by eviware? short of purchasing the Pro version to just get instllation support are there any other avenues of support?Major install problems with 3.6please refer to the thread I started yesterday... viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4762&p=16190#p16190 I was evaluating soapUI and now I can no longer get it to run - at all... Any assistance would be appreciated...Re: Getting error install 3.6 verisonFurther feedback... I've uninstalled all prior JVM's but the most recent one. Including re-installing the most recent JVM. I've uninstalled soapUI and ensured all directories were clear of any lingering files... I've compares the Java settings in the Java Control Panel against a machine where soapUI/loadUI is working. I've downloaded the various packages and tried hte instlaler, the bundled zip, the bundled zip without a JVM. I've tried modifying soapui.bat and ensure a JAVA_HOME was set... Nothing works... Oddly enough I was able to get the app to launch and not get the JVM error message --- but -- and this is extremely odd -- THe app would show the splash screen and come to the 1st screen but nothign works... you can't click on anything -- not even the 'Close' icon in the top right corner... I have to kill via Task Manager or those that are launched via soapui.bat I have to close the console window which in turn closes the soapUI window... This morning I just tied the PRO download (installer).... Same thing except the 1st window 'Import Settings' comes up and I can click Cancel to close it... but from there the same behavior occurs... nothing can be clicked on and I have to kill the window via Task Manager... How can it be this difficult to simply launch an app? I've done all I know to try and resolve this...Re: Getting error install 3.6 verisonI need help on this matter as well. I was able to install and run both soapUI and loadUI and then all of a sudden - without any cause I can identify - soapUI no longer runs.... but loadUI does... I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling both and then uninstalling both and just reinstalling soapUI.... No luck. Went to another brand new Win7 machine and installed it and it's fine there even with loadUI Agent having been installed previously... This is remining why I hate the JVM concept... Any assistance out there? I was making a case for using and eventually pushing to standardize on using these excellent looking tools... but this little incident isn't helping that cause...
