Include datasources as part of the project when importing from Version Control (Git)
Currently my experience when saving a composite project and/or importing a project from VCS is that the datasource is not included as part of the files stored in Version control. Is there any reason why datasources aren't included by default? Currently it is a manual chore of uploading/downloading individual datasources when pulling from VCS, and it would be a huge timesaver to just include datasources along with the other project files when saving to a VCS such as Git.822Views0likes0CommentsCustomizable Axis and Scaling for LoadUI Graphs
I am running a load test that includes 3 different operations for the same webservice. All response times are +/- 20ms of each other. I have a chart for avg response time for each of these requests (teststeps), however they are being graphed out on different axis points with different scaling for each. Ideally I want the response times to be graphed on the y-axis, with all 3 metrics using the same scaling for easier comparison. Options to rename the individual datapoints would also be nice. While this data can be exported into excel and graphed, it would be a big time saver to have the results within ReadyAPI do that for you. FYI - this was originally posted in the forum: http://community.smartbear.com/t5/LoadUI-NG/How-do-you-graph-metrics-on-same-axis-within-LoadUI-Statistics/m-p/1162763.8KViews0likes3CommentsRe: How do you graph metrics on same axis within LoadUI Statistics
Assuming the lack of responses implies this can't be done in the current release of ReadyAPI. How do I go about submitting feature requests? I would consider this a basic use case from a performance reporting standpoint, as I am accustomed to this type of reporting in the other performance tools I've used.9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.4KViews0likes1CommentHow do you graph metrics on same axis within LoadUI Statistics

Working with SmartBear support, they were able to help identify the issue. Here are the details in the event anybody else runs into this in the future: Starting with Ready API 1.4 they began using Java 1.8 which uses TLS 1.2 as default (as opposed to 1.1 which java 1.7 uses). Adding "-Dsoapui.sslcontext.algorithm=TLSv1" to the ReadyAPI.vmoptions file plus commenting out "jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms" line in java security fixes the issue we were having with certs.9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions8.3KViews1like0Commentsjavax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not
I am unable to get any request to pass that requires a cert. The error I see is: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateException: Certificates does not conform to algorithm constraints Based on information found elsewhere, I tried commenting out the line: #jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms=MD2, RSA keySize < 1024 from the \jre\lib\security directory of the java instance used by Ready API. I am seeing this in multiple versions of ReadyAPI, including the latest 1.5.0-m SNAPSHOT build. I also have SoapUI Pro 5.1.2 installed on the same machine and do not have this same issue.Solved9 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions8.4KViews0likes2CommentsUnable to Load Components in Load UI 1.01
While trying out the tutorial found here: http://www.loadui.org/Getting-Started-w ... -test.html I am able to create the project, but when I try to add the web page runner component, the component disappears from the workspace and I noticed the the system log generates the following error: ERROR:Unable to load component: ComponentItemImp[label=Web Page Runner] I tried all other components. The test case component will correctly appear within the workspace, but no other components are working. I have a loadtest configured (Strategy = thread), start/end threads = 1, limit the test run to 10 total runs. My load test consists of a datasource step, followed by a soap request that uses values pulled from that datasource. The load test will pass on the first iteration, but the subsequent 9 calls are failing. Looking at the response details, it is because the values being used from the datasource are always the values from the first row. Am I missing something here? I know I've done this setup in the past, where values from the datasource are uniquely used for each request. Thanks, Chris1.3KViews0likes3Comments
