Re: Assertion related to file comparison
Ok. "for ex if AcctBal element is repeative and order of the elements is not fixed." As i said before, TheAcctBal element is repeated section for me. atleast 20 times i will get that "AcctBal" section in my response and all the inside elements also reapeated 20 times for every section and as i said my comparison passed all the times. May be i am not getting you properly. But ok. people can take this logic and can use it if they find useful. Thanks rao for you time and responses.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.9KViews0likes1Comment- 10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.9KViews0likes0Comments
Re: Assertion related to file comparison
Sorry if i am not understood properly. But would like to clarify. I tested the code in my project stuff and here is the my xml will look like. <AcctBal xmlns="http://www.ifxforum.org/IFX_150"> <BalType>AvgLedger</BalType> <CurAmt> <Amt>422583.92</Amt> <CurCode>USD</CurCode> <UpDt xmlns="http://www.ifxforum.org/IFX_150">2014-04-11T00:00:00-04:00</UpDt> <LastStmtDt xmlns="http://www.ifxforum.org/IFX_150">2014-04-17</LastStmtDt> <EffDt>2014-04-29T14:46:49.514000-04:00</EffDt> </CurAmt> </AcctBal> and this section will have repeated number of times in my xml wsdl schema and the tags 'UpDt', 'LastStmtDt' and 'EffDt' will come atleast 20 times in one of my soap response. I have tested this comparison code for this kind of XML and i was success at all times. Could you please help me what could be the possible scenario or case, where you are saying this will not work for 'input sorted xmls'.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.9KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Assertion related to file comparison
Sorry for late response. I read your requirement. Once i had the same requirement in my project and was found a solution. But i am not sure if that is a proper solution or not. Still you can use that. See this below link. http://groovy.329449.n5.nabble.com/How-to-compare-2-XMLs-by-ignoring-set-of-elements-inside-it-tt5719438.html10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions12KViews0likes8CommentsResolved: How to get list of all global properties?

Re: Resolved:Get HTTP Response Code
Yes, i need to assert that response. For example, I am getting the value "201 Created" from my excel source as a value for a scenario. Once the scenario has run, i need to validate or assert this value by talking the value from actual response after my test has run. Like this... assert "201 Created" (from the cell value of excel source) == "201 Created" (from the actual response after the test has run). But the response is giving my like this "[HTTP/1.1 201 Created]". Here i am trying to get only the "201 Created". Please let me know if i am not clear.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions21KViews0likes0Comments
