Hi Reshma, Thanks for reply and script. looks good. I have an another question. Is it possible to write the tag in the specified block based on the response. i.e Assume the below response , <s0:idCreationResponse xmlns:s0="urn:xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx"> <status>P</status> <ID>23000234 CREATION SUCCESS</ID> </idCreationResponse> request should be written in the pending block & leaving the active block as blank like below ie, if response contains the status as P. <search> <active></active> <pending> <status>Pending</status> <date>xxxx-xx-xx</date> </pending> </search> request should be written in the Active block & leaving the pending block as blank like below i.e, if response contains the status as A. <search> <active> <status>Active</status> <date>xxxx-xx-xx</date> </active> <pending></pending> </search> Could you please advise on this? Thanks in advance!!11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.1KViews0likes0Comments[R] How to change the next request based on the response
Hi all, I need to write the request based on the response. Assume two request as two steps in a test case, response of the teststep 1 gets generated as below. Request2 should contain status as "PENDING" if Response contains the status as P. Again, Request2 should contain status as "ACTIVE" if response contains the status as A. Could you please help me how to write the request automatically based on the value of the previous response. Response 1: <s0:idCreationResponse xmlns:s0="urn:xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx"> <status>P</status> <ID>23000234 CREATION SUCCESS</ID> </idCreationResponse> Request 2: <search> <status>Pending</status <date>xxxx-xx-xx</date> </search>11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions2.7KViews0likes4CommentsHow to validate multiple value
Hi Folks, In Soap UI Free version, I am able to validate the value of the xml tag using Assertion: XPATH. XPATH Assertion helps to validate only one value but more than one. Assume the below tag, now assertion passes this case due to expected value. But i need to pass this case if the tag holds 07 or 05 are also expected values and rest should fail. <responseCode>00</responseCode> Please show lights in this! Hi Folks I am using Soap UI Free Version. I have huge regression test cases under Test suites. In our project, Test cases needs to be maintained for reference and tracking... So its tedious to save multiple XML request and response in local. I have groovy script but it helps to save the response alone and needs to be renamed for every cases. Can someone please guide me how to save the multiple xml requesst and response in local drive automatically. [Resolved] How to trim the node value
Hi Folks, I am using Soap UI Free version. Below Response is from one of the services we are supporting. In the below Response, ID alone needs to be fetched ie. 23000234 must fetched and remainin should be omitted. I am able to get only the node value through groovy script i.e value of returnInfo tag Can someone please provide me the script to do this. Response --------- <s0:idCreationResponse xmlns:s0="urn:xxxxxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx"> <status> <returnCode>0</returnCode> <returnInfo>ID#: XXX23000234 CREATION SUCCESS</returnInfo> </status> </idCreationResponse>11 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions3.6KViews0likes2Comments
