Re: Creating a composite project in git
Standalone project is stored in a single xml file. So when multiple people are working, it becomes difficult to maintain. Composite project creates a directory structure and stores each testcase as a separate xml, also has separate settings file for test suites and projects. you need to checkin this directory structure to git or other version control system. But SoapUI sometimes updates the xml files even though the tests have not changed. ( mostly when you run a testcase from SoapUI, property values stored will change. This would result in testcase xmls being updated eventhough the code has not changed. Becomes difficult to figure out which files to check in if you dont track the code changes done. Other option is leave the checkout directory untouched and have a separate working copy). if you make changes from SoapUI, make sure you save it first before doing 'refresh composite project'. You need to do 'refresh composite project' only if you have done some changes through backend, and want to see them in soapUI.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: [Resolved] Issue With REST Property Transfer
If the actual response is in JSON, with soapUI 5.1, you can transfer the value from "Response" and selecting "Path Language" as "JSONPath". But not sure if this option is available in SoapUI free version. Otherwise you need to define the namespace. You can use '*" to bypass if namespace is not relevant. //*:Response10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.1KViews0likes0CommentsHow to get list of jms queues from a hermes session
Hi, I am trying to write some groovy script to get list of jms queues from a hermes session. I want to search for some queues in session, then either clear the messages and count the messages as well. Can this be done?.. I got some groovy code which accesses the weblogic jms server directly and get the messages. But since soapui is already integrated with hermes, there should be a simpler way to do this? Any help appreciated.. AKS1.1KViews0likes1Comment
