Re: Load Strategy Suggestion
Hello Temil, I read all of these pages before I posted in the forum, thanks. It still does not answer my question thou - how can I determine the max concurrent users in one hour for each test step? Anyone elase has experience in testing this type of scenario? Can you please share your thoughts? Thanks again.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1KViews0likes0CommentsLoad Strategy Suggestion
Hello. Can anyone please provide some recommendations on what load strategy can best achieve this test load objective? Load Objective : Find the maximum number of concurrent virtual users for each transaction within one hour. Test Case with test steps (transaction): Test Step1 : Upload document Test Step2 : Download document Test Step3 : Modify document Test Step4 : Delete document May I also request if you can tell me the values in the strategy? (I hope that is not too much to ask) For example, if I used Fixed Rate what are the values to use in "Threads, Rate, Max Rates" Thanks in advance.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.2KViews0likes2Comments[Resolved] Cannot attach large files
Hello, Before I post this, I have already followed everything that was suggested here http://www.soapui.org/Working-with-soap ... usage.html I can successfully send a request with an 30MB file attachment. However, anything over that file size I get a server error 404 file directory not found. Can you please help? Thanks so much everyone.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1KViews0likes1CommentSupport for netTcpBindings
Good morning. I searched this forum and other sites before I posted this question so I hope I am not being redundant. One of the WCF service I am testing is using netTcpBindings. I understand SOAPUI only supports the basicHttpBinding. 1. Is there a work-around? Has anyone found a way to use a link like net.tcp://mywcfink/service.svc? Please note that Test Complete is not an option. 2. Is SOAPUI supporting netTCp in the future? If yes, is there some schedule we can look forward to? I'll appreciate if someone can reply. Thanks!10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Transfering Property Value that "Less than" OR "equal to"
I need to set-up something simple and straightforward for the client and groovy scripting might be too intimidating for them. I will try to work around this situation so the tests remain easy enough to maintain. I hope you understand. Thou I don't mind if you have other suggestions. Thanks for the reply.10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.1KViews0likes0CommentsTransfering Property Value that "Less than" OR "equal to"

For example: <Firstname>${GetDataFromDB#Property1}</Firstname> //this one works <Lastname>${GetDataFromDB#Property2}</Lastname> //this one works <Age> ${GetDataFromDB#Property3} </Age> // I need help with this What I want to do with the age field: Get only the data from step 1 that is less than or equal to 40 TestStep3: Run the SOAP Request 2 Populate the SOAP Request data with the property values from step 1. For example: <Firstname>${GetDataFromDB#Property1}</Firstname> //this one works <Lastname>${GetDataFromDB#Property2}</Lastname> //this one works <Age> ${GetDataFromDB#Property3} </Age> // I need help with this What I want to do with the age field: Get only the data from step 1 that is less than or equal to 2010 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.3KViews0likes3CommentsWSDL
Hello to everyone, my first time to post in the forum since I run out of options. 1. WORKING: When I use open source SOAPUI 5.0.0, I can load the WSDL files locally and from the another machine. Everything works perfectly fine. 2. NOT WORKING: However, when using SOAPUI PRO 5.0.0 (64bit or 32bit) or 5.1.1 (64bit or 32bit)) I cannot load the SAME WSDL. I saved the WSDL locally it does not work. I tried to access the wsdl remotely from another machine, still does not work. Can you please help? The SOAPUI log shows this error: Tue Aug 12 13:46:14 MDT 2014:ERROR:com.eviware.soapui.impl.support.definition.support.InvalidDefinitionException com.eviware.soapui.impl.support.definition.support.InvalidDefinitionException at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.wsdl.WsdlLoader.makeInvalidDefinitionException(WsdlLoader.java:142) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.wsdl.WsdlLoader.loadXmlObject(WsdlLoader.java:134) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.xsd.SchemaUtils.getDefinitionParts(SchemaUtils.java:539) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.xsd.SchemaUtils.selectDefinitionParts(SchemaUtils.java:569) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.xsd.SchemaUtils.getDefinitionParts(SchemaUtils.java:549) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.wsdl.support.xsd.SchemaUtils.getDefinitionParts(SchemaUtils.java:528) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.support.definition.support.AbstractDefinitionCache.update(AbstractDefinitionCache.java:101) at com.eviware.soapui.impl.support.definition.support.AbstractDefinitionContext$Loader.construct(AbstractDefinitionContext.java:240) at com.eviware.soapui.support.swing.SwingWorkerDelegator.construct(SwingWorkerDelegator.java:50) at com.eviware.soapui.support.swing.SwingWorker$2.run(SwingWorker.java:153) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)10 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions1.7KViews0likes1Comment
