SoapUI with Java 11 won't start
My company has identified the bundled Java version with the latest SoapUI version 5.7.0 as a Sunset application, meaning that for compliance the java and javac executables need to be removed. So I'm trying to configure SoapUI to use system installed Java 11 instead. our framework runs SoapUI via runs TestRunner.bat from the bin folder To simulate no bundled JRE, I've renamed the jre folder within soapui to "jre_deleted" temporarily I've set JAVA_HOME environment variable to "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-ll as that is the path showing my my system I've put in a pause in TestRunner.bat, and get the message below displayed, which is a bit odd with the wrapping: Error: Could not find or load main class Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.7.0\bin\ext -Dsoapui.ext.listeners=C:\Program Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-5.7.0\bin\ext -Dsoapui.ext.listeners=C:\Program I've also tried setting the SOAPUI_HOME environment variable if anyone has successfully pointed their SoapUI opensource at java 11, especially with TestRunner.bat usage, I'd be grateful to hear what, if any, changes were made to TestRunner.bat, Environment Variables, and anything else Thanks263Views0likes0CommentsRe: write Excel Data with poi api in Groovy script - SOAPUI 5.0.0
Hi Could someone please let me know what JAR files need to be imported to the"C:\Program Files\SmartBear\SoapUI-X.X.X\lib" folder for this to work? I have the JAR files listed below and get error "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/collections4/ListValuedMap" when running this code dom4j-1.6.1 poi-3.15 poi-ooxml-3.15 poi-ooxml-schemas-3.15 xmlbeans-2.6.0 Thanks8 years agoPlace ReadyAPI QuestionsReadyAPI Questions14KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Groovyscript to set Service Endpoint row or assign WSS configuration
Thanks again Rao. Your solution sounds like a good one, using property expansions, but I'm struggling wih "Assigning this property at Interface level" (WSS Configuration).. there aren't any custom properties at interface level. Hopefully I've explained myself properly. I don't need any usernames assigning, just the wss configurations1.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Groovyscript to set Service Endpoint row or assign WSS configuration
Thanks Rao for replying. I've already got all the environment-specific configurations set up within the Interface, I can also set up properties for transfering values. My stumbling block is the method for assigning them within the groovyscript (as you would use the Assign button on the Service Endpoints tag). Any help with this I'd be grateful for.1.5KViews0likes3CommentsGroovyscript to set Service Endpoint row or assign WSS configuration
I have a number webservices tests that need to run across different environments. Presently I use another editor within the automated test to edit substrings within the project xml to to assign the endpoint and set environment specific WSS incoming and outpgoing security. I've searched within this forum and others for a way to do this using Groovyscript. I can import the values as properties and transfer them, doing a setEndpoint sets the endpoint fine, but the WSS security values do not change. I need to be able to tell SoapUI to use the entire row (in the service endpoint) or to pick up/assigna particular incoming/outgoing security configuration. Either of these would make this work for me.1.5KViews0likes5CommentsGroovy test steps to report to message section
I'd like to know if anyone out knows how to write messages from Groovy test-steps to the results output, when running SoapUi via the command line. I can use the log.info command fine - and these display in the command console at run-time. But when I open up the results saved by the command line run, these messages are not displayed in the Messages section.882Views0likes1CommentAssign Endpoints Option Not Persisting
I have a number of web service requests that I need to write scripts for using WS-Security. I have a Service Endpoint set up within Interface properties with incoming and outgoing WSS, and I’ve assigned this to “All Requests and Test Requests”. The problem is that when I restart SoapUI and open the tests, on running it I get the message “java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out”, which I’ve worked out means that the test request is not using the Service Endpoint. When I check by checking Assign (on the Interface viewer) again, the option has changed to “All Requests with no Endpoint”. I can change it back and it all works again but this is far from ideal. Can anyone explain why this happens and how I can prevent it?822Views0likes1Comment
