Problem using Swagger Core (v3) to generate OpenAPI with Jersey3 lightweight Grizzly HTTP server
Hi, I've been trying, and failing, to use the io.swagger.core.v3 to generate OpenAPI definitions for a working Jersey 3 example running on Jersey's Grizzly HTTP server. I have included what I believe to be the correct dependencies in the Maven pom but can't seem to find or access any openapi.yaml/json files. I hate to include it here but I don't see a button for attachments, so here is my maven pom. <project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/maven-v4_0_0.xsd"> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>com.pluralsight</groupId> <artifactId>conference-service</artifactId> <packaging>jar</packaging> <version>1.0-SNAPSHOT</version> <name>conference-service</name> <dependencyManagement> <dependencies> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-bom</artifactId> <version>${jersey.version}</version> <type>pom</type> <scope>import</scope> </dependency> </dependencies> </dependencyManagement> <dependencies> <!-- Swagger Dependency --> <dependency> <groupId>io.swagger.core.v3</groupId> <artifactId>swagger-jaxrs2-jakarta</artifactId> <version>2.1.13</version> </dependency> <!-- Swagger Dependency --> <dependency> <groupId>io.swagger.core.v3</groupId> <artifactId>swagger-jaxrs2-servlet-initializer-v2-jakarta</artifactId> <version>2.1.13</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.containers</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-container-grizzly2-http</artifactId> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.inject</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-hk2</artifactId> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.media</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-media-json-binding</artifactId> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.core</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-client</artifactId> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>org.glassfish.jersey.media</groupId> <artifactId>jersey-media-json-jackson</artifactId> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>jakarta.activation</groupId> <artifactId>jakarta.activation-api</artifactId> <version>2.0.1</version> </dependency> <dependency> <groupId>junit</groupId> <artifactId>junit</artifactId> <version>4.12</version> <scope>test</scope> </dependency> </dependencies> <build> <plugins> <plugin> <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId> <version>3.8.1</version> <inherited>true</inherited> <configuration> <source>17</source> <target>17</target> </configuration> </plugin> <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>exec-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.2.1</version> <executions> <execution> <goals> <goal>java</goal> </goals> </execution> </executions> <configuration> <mainClass>com.pluralsight.Main</mainClass> </configuration> </plugin> </plugins> </build> <properties> <jersey.version>3.0.3</jersey.version> <project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding> </properties> </project> Does the Swagger Core (v3) generate OpenAPI definitions when using Grizzly HTTP server included with Jersey 3? Do I have to create a WAR file to use Swagger Core for this? What am I missing?990Views0likes0Comments
