Code-completion of Python variables

Code-completion of Python variables

TestComplete does not provide code completion for variables in Python as it does in JScript and JavaScript. It seems like a must have feature and I'm surprised it doesn't have it.

I first read this in a post by @msaunders here:https://community.smartbear.com/t5/Desktop-Testing/Python-and-IDE-auto-complete/td-p/104937.

Thanks @Marsha_R. That's a decent workaround for now. Or so I thought until I learned that code completion still won't work for the methods of those variables.

Hello,

As far as I understand, this works in TestComplete 12.40:

Please confirm that this is the functionality you requested. If not, please give us an example of what feature you want to see in TestComplete.

Thanks!

@Dmitry_Nikolaev,

You are correct. It looks like TC 12.40.2869.7 addresses the autocomplete of variables in python.

Thank you.
