Auto update scripts when Name Mapping items/aliases are renamed

Auto update scripts when Name Mapping items/aliases are renamed

Hi,

When a Name Mapping item name is changed, it would be great to have all related NameMapping, Aliases updated accordingly through out the code.

For example:

A Name Mapping Aliases.MainWindows.NavigationWindow.OkButton is renamed to Aliases.MainWindows.NavigationPanel.OkButton would update all references of the old Aliases path to the new one.

Thanks

Simoin Glet

The product team has reviewed the suggestion. We agree that this would be a very good feature. However, its technical implementation would be very complex, and would not provide a reliable name updating functionality in the current implementation of name mapping. We have to postpone this suggestion to a later time when we redesign the name mapping feature.

It would be very helpful if script were to refactor when mapped objects name are renamed. Keyword tests do this but scripts which references mapped objects does not.
