Cannot get Nexus + Maven + SoapUI Repo to work
Hi,
We're trying to setup the SoapUI Maven2 repo as a proxy in our Nexus server.
Works with http://www.eviware.com/repository/maven2/, we can browse the index or file store.
But, using http://www.soapui.org/repository/maven2/ does not let us to browse index or files.
We're using this guide: http://www.soapui.org/test-automation/maven/maven-2-x.html.
Maven 3.2+ and Nexus 2.8.1-01.
Anyone got any tips?

Hi
We have now the same problem, it was working in the past. Has it something to do that you have changed your repository to following Remote Storage Location?
http://smartbearsoftware.com/repository/maven2/
Which Remote Storage Location should we use?
Nexus 2.9.0-04
Anyone got any tips?

Hi ,
Have anyone got this working? I am also facing the similar issue.
I am able to access(using wget) all the libraries ( http://smartbearsoftware.com/repository/maven2/) manually from the linux server (where my Sonatype Nexus 2.7.2-03 is installaed)like below:
# wget --proxy=on http://smartbearsoftware.com/repository/maven2/
--2015-11-05 12:54:20-- http://smartbearsoftware.com/repository/maven2/
Resolving proxy.com... <ProxyIP>
Connecting to proxy.com|<ProxyIP>|:<ProxyPortNumber>... connected.
Proxy request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
Length: 7946 (7.8K) [text/html]
Saving to: âindex.html.5â
100%[============================================================================================================================>] 7,946 37.7K/s in 0.2s
2015-11-05 12:54:21 (37.7 KB/s) - âindex.html.5â
Once confirmed that I am able to access this url using my proxy from the server, I tried to configure the same as a proxy repository in Nexus.
Though I am able to quite a few jar files using "Browse Index" but, I am not getting "Browse Remote" and "Browse Storage" properly in Nexus UI.
Please find attached the screen shot for "Browse Index" , "Browse Remote" ,"Browse Storage" and "Routing".
Also I am getting "No scraper was able to scrape remote (or remote prevents scraping)." error message under Discovery on the "Routing " tab.
I am after " http://smartbearsoftware.com/repository/maven2/com/smartbear/" link and want the jars under this to be setup as proxy repository in Nexus, but it is not coming/reflecting in "Browse Remote" tab.
Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Versha

Hello,
I have a similar problem. I'm using the http://www.soapui.org/repository/maven2/ repository and can get remote indexes.
However the com/smartbear/ index won't show up.
Any help is welcome.

I have also problems configuring the smart bear repo in our nexus. Is it possible, that only artirfacts with an .sha1 or .md5 file are accessible?

I'm wondering if this project is still alive. I haven't seen responses from SmartBear to some of these critical configuration problems for months.
