Is there a way of linking two tests together: if I change one, the other one is updated ?
Hi everyone !
So I think my question was already asked a few years ago and someone said this feature is not available, but will be added soon.
What I want to do: I want to define a few test steps like SOAPRequest in my project ONCE and use them later in many testcases. If I want to change something in this teststeps, I want to make a change once in the definition of the request and this should be upgradet in every reference ! So I need a link between this teststeps which guarantee that they look the same. Or maybe a button at the definition test step which is called like "update related test steps".
If this is already implemented and I just didn't see or you can reach this by another way, please tell me.
All the best,
Thomas

Hi @tmh,
In QAC 12.0, we have added the following options which may be useful for you:
- An ability to call tests directly from other tests to create nested tests.
- New shared parameters. Use them for all tests within a specific test set.
