Information about the operation of LoadComplete
Hey guys
In the company where we work, we have a desktop application where each customer's database is located in its environment.
We are designing to migrate the database from all clients to a server on Amazon.
I need to perform performance tests to find out how the desktop system will perform with the database of all clients on a single server on Amazon.
Can you tell me if LoadComplete can perform this test?
I have seen many examples of web application testing, as my application is desktop, I think I will have to do this test directly on the server.
As I am a little inexperienced with automation software, I have a little difficulty applying these tests in my situation.
Does Load Complete perform the direct load test on the server? Does Load Complete perform the direct load test on an API? Or does he need a web application?
Could you give me some advice?

LoadComplete is a web load testing tool. In a nutshell this means that it captures http(s) or Web Socket traffic that your client application sends to the server and replays it then on behalf of a lot of virtual users measuring time it takes to send a request and receive a response from the server.
So, if your application communicates with the server via http(s) or Web Socket protocol the chances are high that LoadComplete can be used for your scenario.
