Commit hashes stop updating after 3 commits

We have Cucumber for Jira installed in our instance of Jira. It's great in principle but after three commit hashes, there's no further updates. The results for the living documentation get updated, but that's not that valuable if they're not associated with a commit hash. 

Has anyone else experienced this?
