I had to uplift my spring boot to 2.7.5. And, i was using a very old version of cucumber i.e. 1.2.5 (info.cukes). And, all my scenarios failed. Hence, I uplifted the cucumber version to 6.8 (io.cucumber). I resolved all compilation issues. Irrespective of trying everything and with every new version of cucumber, my integration test cases are failing.
