How do you configure a review checklist to clear whenever files are uploaded?

After people have checked items on the checklist, the author can upload all new files and the checklist items stay checked.  Can the review template be configured to automatically clear the checklist whenever files are uploaded?  Or, must the author manually uncheck them all?

It doesn't look possible, but I think this could be a good enhancement. You can submit a feature request here or I can convert this thread to an enhancement request if you prefer.
