Increase page wait time
I have a Deja Click alert for a page that sometimes takes a while to load. I get false positives on the keyword validation, as Alert Site seems to only wait a few seconds before deciding that the keyword is not present.
How do I increase the wait time prior to keyword validation failure cutting an alert?

Hi Geoffrey,
You can try to do the following in DejaClick:
- Open the Edit Keyword Validation dialog
- Select Advanced in Display Level
- Specify Continue Waiting in the Action Options | Perform this Action option
Does this help?

I have updated the script and will let you know if we continue to see validation timeouts, thanks!
One question, though -- what happens if we really do have a timeout due to the page being down? Does this setting just essentially tell the alert to continue waiting until the overall timeout hits?
Thanks again!

Hi,
“Continue waiting” means waiting for the operations until the timeout is over. You can specify the timeout like it’s listed here: http://dejaclick.alertsite.com/user-guide/firefox/details/properties-sidebar.html

Thanks! Alerts are already looking better.
