How do I test an alert to make sure it's acting as I think it is. I don't see a 'test' button.

I have setup some alerts and would prefer not to have to take my entire landingpage down to test it. There HAS to be a 'test a failure of this monitor' button somewhere right?!

The quickest and easiest way to test failure would be to add a keyword validation on an element that isn't present on the page. That will cause a failure and allow you to see the process before either removing the keyword or switching it back to something valid.
