AQTime not installing on Windows 8.1 with Hyper-V
Hello Support,
I registered and donwloaded AQTime 8 for evaluation.
Got License Manager, AQTime and Key.
Installed License Manager on my machine.
But when I am trying to activate the trial license key on my machine, it is saying "virtual machine detected".
I am using physical machine and my OS is Windows 8.1 Pro with Hyper-V services installed.
AQTime 8.21 Build 1134
License Manager 2.50.332
Help me activate the trial key so that we can proceed with evaluation.
Regards,
Piyush

We still have an outstanding restriction in our License Activation wizard which thinks that physical machines with Hyper-V are actually virtual machines. They are not (but for a while the underlying licensing system thought they were..). You can work around this restriction by either
- removing the Hyper-V feature on the machine (and rebooting), activating the license, and then restoring the Hyper-V feature, or
- activate the trial license using the Manual activation procedure
Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

When I do this with Manual Activation, it is still giving me the same error.
Do I need to run it from some other machine which does not have Hyper-V?

Hrrmmm. Before I had answered I had verified that I could do exactly that: manually activate an AQtime 8 trial license on a physical Windows 8.1 Pro machine which had the Hyper-V features enabled.

Closing the loop. No resolution here. Problem avoided by activating license on a different machine.
