Related to assignment, we have, you know we have test cases we would like to assign permissions like we have different brand and then we have a set of test case and then we will the question that the team has is is it possible to assign test cases to a group. Because right now we can either use everyone or a specific name but here they want to be able to let's say define a group for Kachi.
Or the tester and then assign that test to the group Kathy.

It's a great question. Simple answer, no, but it's a really, really good point. Absolutely because especially if you have global test teams and you want to assign it to a sub brand. So yeah, it makes good sense. It's technically not possible to assign it to a group in that way. Not yet.

So what typically I'll tell you how it work, how how the kind of work around approach there. Yeah, definitely feature request, but the workaround approach is underneath the cycle you would have a phase right underneath the phase. You can. You can either break down the phase or you can just have it phase level. I would have Cartier as the as the phase.
Or I would have the brands underneath the phase to be to be folders underneath the phase. Then you would add your test cases in. Now the test cases that are inside each of the Cartier would be assigned to anyone.
That means if I'm working on that particular brand, I would go into that brand folder and execute any of the test cases there. So it would you would organise either their phased relations, their phase hierarchy.
The phase names or the subfolders inside the phases. The brand names.
So you that way you can have and that helps because if you take the, if you take the phase names or the the subfolders underneath the phase that helps because when you're then looking at the execution report, you can click on a cycle and you can see you know the phases and cutie and anky phenob balls. You can see all of them there or you can click on the phrase and it will then take you in and show you the sub brands in there.
So the the hierarchy really helps with the clicking capability as well.
So yeah, that's the way it can be managed using the work around approach and also has a good impact on reporting.
