When selecting variables for use in onscreen actions they are listed in order they were added to the project. It would be more useful if they were in alphabetical order.

Great suggestion. If I remember correctly I have asked for the same feature request months/years ago. (searched for it on the forum but couldn't find it though)...
Hope it will be implemented in future version of TC !

TanyaYatskovska said she was submitting this suggestion for me back in 2014. Obviously nothing ever came of it.
This will be really helpful. We are in the initial stages of adding tests, but with multiple people adding tests and variables, finding a variable in the list is already very difficult. I would like to suggest adding a search option like the one available for script routines for variables too.
