I would like to suggest an option to lock the Test Item Screen in TestComplete. The options can be like a checkbox , where when u check it, all the Test items (parent / child) will be freezed until user unchecks it back.
I felt the need of this feature because i used work with short cut key to switch test systems and that works on the combination of multiple keys. unknowing if my cursor is on any test item, what ever combination i typed will overwrites the exisitng text in test item
Since we cant use Cntrl + Z in Test Item screen to bring back the original text, what is lost is lost. So i suggest some lock type , where i can enable it when i m not working on Test complete. This also help unfortunate deletion of test items
