As you know, current testcomplete version, in OCR checkpoint has not options, what would happen, how to message you when exception happen, throw error or warning. I think it is necessary that, OCR checkpoint has this option, how to publish exception, as an error or warning.

The goal of this is so that when it can't find the desired value and throws a warning, the test continues to run.

But what if I don't want to use this option to continue the test run in case of an error?
Why can't the OCR checkpoint have a choice of what to do if the specified text is not found, throw an error or a warning?
Is not it more flexible?
