I've been using the same pkudrys while learning Playwright (and Puppeteer), and it's great! Just deciding which automation framework to use, if I were to move away from TC.
rraghvani it's really great. I knew virtually "0" about Playwright, but in less than a month, with VSCode+Copilot, I learned a lot of new stuff and converted my existing form filling method from TestComplete to Playwright and even dramatically improved it. And this all thanks to the integrated Copilot. I like the TC, which we selected as a replacement tool for Ranorex (which is painfully dying last 3 years). But I'm now really tempted about Playwright. But yes, it's not for everyone. One needs to know something about coding and this may discourage TA novices. This is where TC probably excels. Ona can easily starts with the keyword-based tests and then slowly move to scripting. Integrated Copilot (any AI) would be a game changer for many aspiring TA engineers.
