Currently in TestComplete you can assign a single test or a project to one host. If I want to execute all the test cases in one project on different hosts, it is not possible. I have to break the project into multiple projects to assign each project to one host.
You are correct regarding running a "Task" but if you want to run tasks in parallel between hosts, you need to run the "Job" NOT the Task in your Network suite.
Running jobs, causes all the tasks to run in parallel and in no specific order.
