I see the Actual end dates are updated without execution; May I know why?

We have Test cycle and when we tried to click on "start new execution" the actual dates are updated, and the test case is in "Non execution" status in cloud Jira.   Can we have a solution for this? ...

I've not seen that before.  Can you please share screen prints and more detail about the steps you took?

    Thanks for reply

    First, we added test cases in Test cycle and went to execution of test cases

    Steps: we clicked on Start a new execution link then the actual end date is updated but the test case is not executed.
