OpenAPI Json ignores description when used along with "$ref"

I have a response object and reference to another object along with its description, the referenced object also has its own description. The outer Object's description is being ignored by the swagger editor. The "allOf" or "schema" property fails in this case.

Do we have an alternate for this ?

Any suggestion would be great.
