Using global property transfert with command line

Global properties can be passed on the command line with the -G switch:

Even after using the two options -t & -G still it is not working.

Below is the command used:
cmd.exe /C testrunner.bat -ehttp://<host>:<port>/sts/services/SecurityTokenServiceSvc -s"TestSuite Login" -cLogin -r -a -j -f"C:\Documents and Settings\jayeshk\Desktop\SoapReports" -I -S -GSessionID=${SessionID} -t"C:\Documents and Settings\jayeshk\soapui-settings.xml" -i C:\Jayesh\SoapUI\login-soapui-project.xml

The Global property "SessionID" is not transferred from Soap UI -> Preferences to soapui-settings.xml.
Also check attached screenshot. I tried to 3 options for Global property:
1) No value for session ID - This did not worked
2) Value ${SessionID} - This did not worked
3) Exact session ID value from Login service Response - This worked but don't know how it can we retrieve SessionID automatically from Global Property Preference.

Please let me know how to write Global Property to soapui-settings.xml from TestRunner for Login & retrieve from it for Logout automatically.

You can't assign a dynamic value to a global property. Look at the property transfer step.

Property Transfer steps are used already for transferring Session ID from one test to other.
I am able to run tests one by one using Soap UI. But when i try to run using TestRunner it fails as it does not transfer Global Property from one test to other.

Can you try transferring the sessionID to the TestSuite-level, or to the Project-level instead of Global-level? See if that works when running testrunner.

If not I think I may be trying something similar. I am trying to make a 'test steps' property called barcode available to run on the command line. So the barcode can be changed at any time.
The line in the test case itself that refers to the property is:
<barcode>${#TestCase#barcode}</barcode>

However when running testRunner, setting a global or project property barcode=500 for example, does not work. How do I change this to get this to work?

Instead of a "TestCase"-level property, use a Project level:

<barcode>${#Project#barcode}</barcode>

Then when you call testrunner, add the -P argument:

./testrunner.sh -Pbarcode=500 myProject.xml

The -P option will set a Project level property after the project loads. The -P option will override an existing value that is saved in the soapui project.
