Test built from WADL fails with "URIException: escaped absolute path not valid"

After browsing to the source, this doesn't make much sense. It's apparently getting the NPE on the "ProxyConfiguration proxyConf" object, which I assume is read from the preferences. I rechecked my preferences, and I have the proxy information set. In fact, I didn't change it from the original installation, so this version appears to be reading from the same place as the original 3.0.1 version is.
