soapui-mock service-error-2020-01-22 12:57:54 - Error getting response; java.net.SocketTimeoutExcept

I imported sample soapui rest service, started the mock service but when i initiate the Request Soapui returns below error. Please advice.

"Error getting response; java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out".

Update SocketTimeout in SOAPUI Settings.

Navigate to Preferences of ReadyAPI and Click on HTTP

See for SocketTimeout(ms) option and updated it to prefered time based on your api.

  Still getting the same error, after playing around the preferences/socketTimeout settings.
  Mock service is running yet no response. Here is my endpoint from the soapUI(5.5.0) sample project.
  http://localhost:8080/accountcreation
  "Error getting response; java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out".

    How do you confirm if the mock service is running the given port? Have you saved the preferences of changing the value of Socket time out settings?
