SOAPUI 5.2.1 initialization
I installed SOAPUI and it appeared as in the Getting Started (REST) - but it didn't work. It was somehow stuck/nonresponsive. I used Task Manager to kill it, and started it new. Now, starting a RES...

Do you mean soapui is not started in your case? Or does it have problem with specific project?
Have you checked soapui log files?
May be you can start it using command line. Go SOAPUI_HOME/bin directory and run soapui.bat from command line. you would be able to see logs there too.
