Soap UI 5.4.0 crashes

I installed SoapUI 5.4.0 on my new machine.  When I tried to open SoapUI by clicking the desktop  icon - it shows a splash screen for split second and they closes.

 

I checked the bin folder for any logs and could not see any log data for the error.

 

Can some one please help.

    this is now resolved.

     

    I had to restart my laptop!!

      Restarting didn't solve this same problem for me. I'm using Windows 10 Pro.
