SOAP empty/ null response intermittently

I am receiving empty response intermittently for my every other soap request, when i submit a request it keeps busy for so long and I get empty response and the next request is successful. But I can see successful updates in Database for both requests. Does anyone had this issue so far? Let me know if you know what is the cause?
