Slow SOAP HTTPS request time

Hello all,

I am trying to do some perf tests with SOAPUI, and I get very slow response time (>4 seconds) . I used Wireshark to try to find out where my time was lost, and the capture shows the following:
-the TCP handshake workd fine
-SOAPUI does not send anything for about 4 seconds, then sends the request
-The server sends the response within 200ms

I am wondering what is causing SOAPUI to delay the request send for so long, if I can reduce this delay.

Please note I am using HTTPS encrypted SOAP connections. Please let me know if you had that experience and how you managed to overcome it.
