You may try set the request manually including the header and see if that helps.

    Well, that would mean, I would need to calculate the DigestValue(s) myself.

    Any suggestion how to do that ?

    I am not even sure where/how to find the libs (openssl?) to support the sha256-rsa-MGF1 ...
