Running Request Editor on MAC OS

I am running on Mac OS X 10.6.8. If I try to start the request editor on a request, nothing happens. As this is one the most valuable features of soap ui, this makes the product useless for me. Is this is disabled on mac os x?

    The Request Editor opens behind the "Info on SoapUI". I didn't find a way to close the Info-Popup.
