problems running soapui on xp pro sp3

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone has encountered any problems running soapui on xp pro sp3. 
I had been using soapui for quite a while just fine when all of a sudden it stopped working.
I can see the process start up in task manager, but the application never actually launches.  there are no messages in my application logs to indicate what may have happened.
Thanks for any thoughts.

    Not sure what version of soapUI you're running, but try and execute the soapui.bat file from the command line to see what it's doing

    Hi!

    also check the contents of the soapui-errors.log file in the soapui\bin directory, maybe you can find some clue there to what is going on?

    I am trying to run 3.0.1.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, but no luck.
    the soapui-errors log is empty, so no help there.  running the bat file from the command line brings up 4 lines, but no errors.
    there are 2 warnings about log4j not loading properly (no appenders could be found), and to INFO lines - initialized soapui-settings from c:\.... and Loading workspace from c:\....
    The splash screen comes up for a second, but then disappears and nothing else happens.

    Hello,

    Hm...maybe you should uninstall it and remove all workspace xml files, soapui-settings.xml, too. Than install it again ( this would be reseting everything ). Than you could import your project files in new soapUI instance. I guess something got corrupted somehow..
