I can't get HTTP 1.1 and chunked encoding to occur

I'm on 2.5.1 and have gone into file->preferences->HTTP settings-> and have set HTTP 1.1 and did not check the "disable chunking" box. Still, soapUI client is still sending HTTP1.0 non-chunked. ...

Clarification - I do not see chunked encoding with https (ssl) and HTTP1.1

How can I force chunked encoding?
