HTTP decompression change between 3.6.1 and 4.5.1?

I have a question because of a strange behavior which seems different between soapUI 3.6.1/4.0.1 and 4.5.1: when I use latest version of soapUI I am not able to see compressed response (send compressed requests is enabled) correctly showed on the left pane window (I just see a blank left pane) even if the byte count and HTTP header seems correct. This behavior is not reproducible instead in older soapUI 3.6.1 and 4.0.1 (here I can correctly see the response decompressed in left pane window): did something change in the gzip compression algorithm or behavior in this versions? In the changelogs and bug/issues trackers I did not find anything about this afaik....
