How to convert xml file to json

Frankly my question on this is something I don't believe is possible.

We have a WSDL with many test steps

We also have a Data-Driven version

Our new Tech Director says "we are moving to JSON" and wanted our SoapUI Project XML's to be converted to JSON.

Well - i don't see it possible to take a "soapui" XML project containing SOA Schema and turning it in to a RESTFul JSON ... (and just say that the elements (code blocks) are the same structure).
